Southwark Cathedral marked the 800^th anniversary of the Great Fire of Southwark last night with a spectacular firework display.

The event followed the blessing of the new Standard of the London Fire Brigade during Evensong, led by the Very Rev Andrew Nunn, in the south London cathedral.
